形態特徵

• Main stems erect, terete, without branches on the lower half; from a very widely creeping, shallowly subterranean, branching rhizome to a ascending rhizome or stolon; scales on the rhizome pinkish-yellow to orange, ovate, ciliate, attached by broad base, the apex acute, appressed or recurved; plants up to 40 cm tall.
• Leaves on the lower part of stem monomorphic, ovate, clasping, auricled at base, nearly equal-sided, with a definite midrib, the margins erose and long ciliate towards apex; lateral leaves of branches unequal-sided, ovate-lanceolate or broadly ovate, pointing outwards, ciliate near base, with indistinct midrib; median leaves elliptical, with two longitudinal grooves reaching from base to apex, nearly equal-sided, entire or minutely ciliate, pointing upwards; axillary leaves unequal-sided, ovate, minutely ciliate, acute at apex.
• Strobili tetragonal, terminal on branches; sporophylls monomorphic, ovate, minutely ciliate, acuminate-aristate at apex.

• 台灣 : Growing on tree trunks, along stream banks, hillsides, or on exposed banks in partial shade.
• 世界 : China, India, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, the Ryukyus and south to Celebes.
